When Jesus was beginning His public ministry and was recruiting people to serve with Him, He said three things:
Over and over again you see this pattern in scripture as the way in which God saves us, sanctifies us and uses us to fulfill His purposes. The less you need community, the less you are like God. There can be no supernatural character change without real, true, deep involvement in community.
