Indeed, in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. Guardian: Paidagogous - A teacher or guide that would oversee the education of a child. - Bauer's Lexicon Τρέφειν (Guardian) is used for upbringing and education, and it is more vegetative than ethical in character. - Theological Dictionary of the New Testament “In the culture of the time, parents, particularly (the father) exemplified proper behavior.
