Ken Birks serves as a Pastor and Elder at The Rock of Roseville, where he helps lead, teach, and care for the church community. Over the years, he has served in many different areas, including preaching, teaching baptism classes, volunteering in children’s ministry, and greeting people as they arrive on Sunday mornings. Ken has a deep passion for teaching Scripture in a way that is both practical and transformative, helping people connect more deeply with God and His Word.

Ken has been part of The Rock since the very beginning and played a role in inviting Pastor Francis to purchase the original church building. Through every season, he has remained committed to helping build a church culture centered on worship, strong biblical teaching, and authentic community. One of the things he loves most about The Rock is the atmosphere during Sunday services and the heart behind both the preaching and worship.

Outside of church, Ken enjoys writing, officiating weddings and memorial services, and spending time working in the yard. He regularly writes devotionals and devotional poetry, sharing them online and publishing them in books. He also enjoys traveling, keeping his website updated, and starting the day with a cup of dark roasted black coffee. Most of all, he loves seeing people become passionate about God and fully alive in their faith.
