Community Groups
We believe church isn’t just a Sunday thing. It’s a people thing. Community Groups at The Rock are where relationships are built, faith is strengthened, and family is found.
More than a meeting. It’s your people.
At The Rock, we believe that spiritual growth happens best in community. Community Groups are where we open up our lives, pray for each other, read scripture, eat together, and grow deeper in relationship with Jesus and one another.
Whether it’s over tacos, around a fire pit, or gathered in prayer, groups are all about real connection. You don’t have to have it all together. Just show up and be open.
The Heart Behind It All
What to Expect
Group Schedule
Groups meet in three terms throughout the year:
Fall: August through December
Spring: January through May
Summer: June and July
Most groups meet weekly or every other week, depending on what works best for the leaders and members.
Types of Groups
There’s something for just about everyone.
You’ll find groups focused on:
Bible studies through specific books or topics
Prayer and worship nights
Life stage connection (moms, young adults, empty nesters, etc.)
Food and fun (dinners, board games, bonfires)
Activity-based groups like walking, painting, or even watching The Chosen together
Don’t See a Group That Fits?
That might mean you’re the one to start it.
If you’ve ever thought, “We need a group for dads who want to pray before work,” or “I’d love to meet with people who enjoy hiking and talking about faith,” there’s probably someone else thinking the same thing.
All you need is a co-leader (someone who doesn’t live in your household) and a heart to build community. We’ll help you get started, and you’re only committing to one term at a time.
You don’t need to know everyone. Just someone.
Find your people and build something real.
