Amy Patterson serves as the Local Outreach Director at The Rock of Roseville, where she helps lead many of the ways our church serves and cares for the surrounding community. From the Christmas Toy Outreach and Love Roseville to the Food Pantry and other ministries at our Bonita campus, Amy loves finding practical ways to meet people where they are and love them well. She also serves alongside her husband in caring for the congregation and loves being part of what God is doing both inside and outside the walls of the church.

Amy and her family found The Rock after a friend encouraged them to visit while they were searching for a new church home. They intentionally chose a Sunday when their friend wouldn’t be there so they could experience it for themselves, and as Amy puts it, “it was love at first experience.” They knew they had found home and have been part of The Rock family ever since.

Outside of church, Amy is a devoted wife and mom to four girls. She loves gardening, staying active, traveling, and spending time with her family, and she especially appreciates the rare quiet and restful moments in between. In this season, she describes what God is doing in her life as a continual cycle of watering, growing, and stretching, and she loves watching others discover just how personal and tangible the love of God can be.
